On the 15th of January of 2016, after undergoing rigorous surveys, Cao Thang Eye Hospital successfully passed the Joint Commission International (JCI) certification evaluation for the third time. Ms Jeanne Lim from JCI visited Cao Thang Eye Hospital to evaluate and conduct the survey.

JCI is the acronym for “Joint Commission International”, which is an organization that focuses on quality assessment of America’s hospitals and they have extended operations across more than 90 countries since 1994.
JCI’s mission is:
“To improve the safety and quality of care in the international community through the provision of education, publications, consultation, and evaluation services.”
Cao Thang Eye Hospital is the only eye center in Vietnam accredited by the Joint Commission International (JCI) which works to improve patient safety and health care in the international community.
